POSITIVE PROFIT ALERT

This announcement is made by Beijing Enterprises Medical and Health Industry Group Limited (the "Company", together with its subsidiaries as the "Group") pursuant to Rule 13.09(2)(a) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "Listing Rules") and the Inside Information Provisions (as defined under the Listing Rules) under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap. 571, Laws of Hong Kong).

Reference is made to the announcement of the Company dated 1 August 2017 in respect of, inter alia, the profit alert and that the annual results of the Group was expected to achieve a turnaround.

The board of directors (the "Board") of the Company wishes to inform the shareholders of the Company (the "Shareholders") and potential investors of the Company that based on the preliminary assessment of the information currently available, the Board anticipates that the Group will record a consolidated profit for the year ended 31 December 2017 of approximately HK$270,000,000, as compared to a consolidated loss for the year ended 31 December 2016 of approximately HK$88,000,000.

The anticipated consolidated profit for the year is only a preliminarily anticipated figure and may be subject to impairment of assets (if any), changes in the fair value of investment properties, ultimate share of profits/losses of associates, adjustment of gains from the disposal of equity interests and other audit adjustments during the audit process. The Company is still in the process of finalizing the consolidated annual results for the Financial Year 2017, which is subject to further adjustments.
