Cavagnari has a strong track record of leading high-performing sales teams in Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and North America. Cavagnari joins from SimplyBox, where he was co-founder and CEO. Prior to SimplyBox, he was Vice President for Worldwide Sales at Apple's PowerSchool Division and at Saratoga Systems.

Cavagnari's appointment comes as Appcelerator is ramping investments in these two crucial regions, which are home to more than 70,000 Appcelerator developers.
