AlphaCipher Acquisition Corporation (d/b/a Vadium) today announced the appointment of Mr. Kim Holmes to the Company's senior executive team as Senior Vice President - Product Development. Mr. Holmes brings more than 30 years of leadership and product development experience from both entrepreneurial start-up and large corporate environments.

Mr. Holmes leads the development of Vadium's product strategy, architecture and organizational structure enabling security solutions utilizing AlphaCipher technologies. Prior to joining Vadium, Mr. Holmes was the Vice President of Engineering and Operations for data networking start-up Hammerhead Systems where he led the development of a Layer 2.5 edge aggregation switch for the Carrier Networks. Previously, Mr. Holmes was the Vice President of Engineering for optical networking start-up Cinta Networks, where he led the development of an integrated DWDM and optical switching system for long haul networks. Mr. Holmes also has over 20 years with Bell Northern Research/Nortel Networks in various management positions, directing the efforts of software and hardware engineers in the development of carrier class voice and data switching products for converged ATM/IP/TDM networks. In 1998, Kim Holmes received the President's Award for Innovation in developing Nortel's Next Generation Network vision.
