DEL MAR, CA (JANUARY 27, 2016) - Are you a licensed brewery? Brewpub? Maker of mead or cider?
Enter the 10th annual San Diego International Beer Competition. Breweries that compete are eligible to have their brands served at the 2016 San Diego International Beer Festival, June 17 - 19. The SDIBF is the largest of its kind on the West Coast featuring more than 300 beers from around the world, and over the past ten years has earned industry praise, prominence and distinction in the United States and the world. Registration is open at: www.sandiegobeerfestival.com . Entry for the competition is available online only. There is a $45 non-refundable processing fee per entry, and an eight-entry maximum. Deadline for entry is Friday, March 25, 2016, by 11:59 p.m. (PDT).

The Beer Festival features five tasting sessions to choose from. Each session offers four hours of unlimited sampling of the more than 300 beers featured from around the world, including many from San Diego's world-famous craft brewing community. You can upgrade your ticket to VIP for additional perks, including food pairings, a souvenir 6 oz. sampling glass and more. Entertainment, beer-themed vendors and educational sessions are included in the price of admission.

About the San Diego County Fair

'Mad About the Fair' is the theme for the 2016 San Diego County Fair, presented by Albertsons/Vons which will open at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 3 and run through Monday, July 4th. The Fair will be closed Mondays (except July 4th) and the first two Tuesdays.

Weird. Wacky. Whimsical. That's how to describe 'Mad About the Fair' as the theme for 2016. The Fair will fuse the magic of Lewis Carroll's, 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' with the artistic movement known as Steampunk.

Get ready for the rides of your life and one 'wild tea party!' Outlandish landscapes, crazy rides, unique foods, festivals and entertainment will fill every day of the Fair. Appearances by your favorite Wonderland characters may drive you, 'mad as a Hatter' and 'completely bonkers!' But, to quote Lewis Carroll, 'all the Best People Are!' The 2016 San Diego County Fair will start your summer with 'Adventure and Imagination!'
