Ltd., the firm was founded in 2006 as a joint venture between China Cinda Asset Management Corp., an asset management firm controlled by the Government of China and the holder of a majority interest, and Colonial First State Global Asset Management Pty Ltd. which is the fund management arm and a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX: CBA). Cinda manages investment funds for retail investors.

Formerly known as Lombarda China Fund Management Co., Ltd., the firm was founded in 2006 as a joint venture between UBI, Guodu Securities Co., Ltd., China Private Ventures (Beijing) Ltd. and WinnerKey Investment Co., Ltd. Zhong Ou AM manages mutual funds and provides financial advisory services to both Chinese and global institutional, as well as retail investors.
