Metropolitan Asset Managers Ltd. (MetAM) is the wholly-owned subsidiary of MMI Holdings Ltd. (JH: MMI) in South Africa. Initially functioning as the investment arm of the Metropolitan Life Group, MetAM is a multi-specialist investment management firm which was created in 1997. Located in Cape Town, the firm manages money for institutional and retail investors through a wide range of segregated and pooled investment products. MetAM regards social investment as their national duty and a practice of good corporate citizenship and aims to give back to the community by creating capacity and providing resources to social institutions in need.
