Schick Technologies, Inc. develops, maufactures and sells medical and dental digital-imaging equipment. Its product, CDR (computed dental radiography), an X-ray system that uses less radiation than conventional equipment, fits inside the mouth, incorporates an oral camera and produces the images on a computer instead of film. The company also makes the accuDEXA - a bone densitometer, CDRPan - the digital panoramic system that retrofits to existing panoramic systems and CDRCam2000 - hand-held intraoral camera.
