Wilfried Frohnhofen

Intelligent Venture Capital Management GmbH (IVCM) is an independent venture capital firm established in 1999. IVCM is based in Aachen with a representative office in Cologne, both cities in Nordrhein-Westfalen near the western border of Germany. The firm manages the IVC series of funds for a private clientele. The IVC funds are operated as pledge funds, through which private individuals such as entrepreneurs invest in the form of private placements. IVCM also manages the regional seed fund Rheinland Venture Capital, in which the lead investors are regional financial institutions including savings banks. The firm has strategic alliances with government-controlled banks and with High-Tech Gründerfonds Management GmbH, a public-private partnership based in Bonn and specialized in venture capital investing in technology.
