Voon San Lai

Mr. Voon San Lai is Head of TMT Research at MF Global (Hong Kong) Ltd.
He joined MF Global as the Head of TMT Research for Greater China in September 2010.
Prior to MF Global, he was with Standard Chartered (formerly Cazenove Asia) for the past five years as the Regional Telecom and Media analyst for the group.
He was previously covering 22 stocks in the region across six markets.
Mr. Lai has over 16 years of experience in the industry and 11 years as a sell-side analyst covering telecoms and technology.
Before joining Standard Chartered, Mr. Lai worked for BNP Paribas Peregrine, as the Regional Head of Telecom Research.
He has also worked with GK Goh, Nomura, and Bear Stearns as an analyst and sales specializing in the telecommunications, internet, and technology sector.
He began his career on the buyside as an Investment Analyst working for Value Partners.
Mr. Lai is a graduate of UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
