MBG Mittelständische Beteiligungs GmbH Schleswig-Holstein (MBG Schleswig-Holstein) is a regional private equity firm which was established in 1994 on the initiative of the State of Schleswig-Holstein in Germany to increase equity base of medium-sized companies in Schleswig-Holstein and to improve the conditions for raising debt capital. Headquartered in Kiel, Germany the firm signed a cooperation agreement in 2007 with Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein, Bürgschaftsbank, Genossenschaftsverband Norddeutschland, Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken, aiming to improve the implementation of support for small and medium-sized companies in Schleswig-Holstein.
