Malter, CFA MBA, is a Co-Founder & Managing Principal at Matarin Capital Management LLC.
Her primary responsibility at Matarin for oversight of the firm’s business operations, including compliance, finance, legal and IT.
She has over 33 years of asset management experience including a variety of senior roles at J.P.
Morgan Investment Management, Scudder, Kemper Investments and Chancellor Capital Management, a firm acquired by Invesco.
Valerie also created the first Program for Social Impact at The Wharton School.
She received her MBA from the Darden School of Business and earned a BSBA from Boston University, graduating magna cum laude in Finance.
A CFA Charterholder.
