Prior to joining Mazama Capital in 2001, Mr. Norby spent several years as an equity trader, most recently as Vice President and Head of Equity Trading at Wells Fargo Van Kasper.
During his many years at this firm, formerly Black & Company, he worked closely with Ron Sauer executing institutional trades between several leading investment managers who were Mr. Sauer's clients.
Mr. Norby also worked extensively with position traders on stocks the company made a market in to achieve maximum benefit for the firm, its brokers, and clients, while keeping risk to a minimum.
