Franz is Executive Medical Director of Clinical Dermatology for PRACS Institute Ltd.
Previously, he was Vice President of Clinical Research in Dermatology for Connetics Corp.
and Vice President of Research and Development for Hercon Laboratories Corp.
Dr. Franz was Consulting Medical Officer at the FDA's Division of Topical Drug Products at the Center for Drug Evaluation & Research (CDER), a Professor for the Department of Dermatology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and an Associate Professor for the Department of Medicine, Division of Dermatology at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
He held various management positions at Hoffmann LaRoche, Johnson & Johnson, and Procter & Gamble.
Dr. Franz has 30 years of academic and industry experience in dermatologic research.
He received his BS degree from the University of Portland and an MS degree in Biochemistry as well as an MD from the University of Oregon Medical School.
