Stephen R.
Wood has been Corporate Senior Vice President-Administration of Sierra Pacific Resources since July 2004.
He is Senior Vice President-Administration of Sierra Pacific Power Co. and Nevada Power Co. Mr. Wood was President of Centaur Energy Development LLC from 2000 to 2004 and Louisville Gas and Electric Company from 1997 to 2000.
He was President-Distribution Services of LG&E Energy Corp.
from 1997 to 2000 and Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer from 1994 to 1997.
Mr. Wood is a Director of Martin Engineering, Inc. He held various senior positions in human resources and in customer service with Memorex Telex Corporation and Ford Motor Company.
Mr. Wood has 16 years of experience in the energy business and 36 years in operational and administrative management.
He was Captain in the U.S.
Marine Corps.
Mr. Wood received an MBA from the University of Detroit, a BS in Industrial Management from Purdue University and additional executive education at Columbia University.
