Prior to joining Riverbend in April of 2008, Mr. Rice was employed for four years by Pioneer Natural Resources.
He was a reservoir engineer involved in making $50 MM+ investment recommendations (and execution plans) in Pioneer’s West Texas and GOM Shelf business units.
Subsequent to those duties, he served for two years as Manager of Investor Relations as a technical advisor to senior management while managing valuable relationships with investment firms and analysts.
Mr. Rice holds a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
He is a member of Houston Producer’s Forum and Houston Energy Finance Group.
