Mr. Sacha Mertenat is Head-Risk Management at RAM Active Investments SA. He began his career at Crédit Suisse.
Initially, he was responsible for IT projects for front office and analysis in Zurich and Geneva.
In 1995 he focused his career on Risk Management, including the introduction of VaR (Value at Risk) methodologies.
In 1997, he was appointed Risk Manager of BCGE, a post he later held at Banque Edouard Constant from 1998 to 2001 and Banque Diamantaire from 2001 to 2007.
Mr. Mertenat is an econometrics graduate of the Université de Saint-Gall (HSG, 1989).
He also followed the Programming and Systems training programme (IT) at Crédit Suisse Zurich (1989-1992).
