Ryan Hudak
Profile
Mr. Hudak began his professional career as an infantry officer in the U.S.
Army.
He served as a combat infantryman in the 82nd Airborne Division and as an instructor at the U.S.
Army Ranger School.
He held a variety of leadership positions, gaining experience as a tactical leader, as well as serving in staff roles specializing in logistics, operations and strategic planning.
Following his military service, he worked at Applied Materials, Inc. in various manufacturing and operations roles.
He managed a pilot production division and new product development and launch.
Prior to joining NewSchools, he worked at Chicago Public Schools where he managed a Business Service Center that provided budget, procurement, human resources, facilities and security support to more than 200 schools.
Mr. Hudak holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the United States Military Academy and a Master of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, and is an alumnus of The Broad Residency in Urban Education.
