Robert E. Bennett

Mr. Bennett is currently working for Berkshire Hathaway Credit Corporation of Nebraska and also serves as a member of their Board of the Directors.
Mr. Bennett is responsible for the origination, negotiation and closing of real estate investments made by Berkshire Hathaway, and is involved in certain insurance products, including residual value insurance and credit enhancement.
Prior to joining Berkshire Hathaway in 1994, Mr. Bennett was Chief Operating Officer of Goldman Sachs' Real Estate Department and Co-Head of its Tenant Representation Group.
While at Goldman Sachs, Mr. Bennett's real estate clients included Cadillac Fairview, The Equity Group, First Chicago Trust Company of New York, Alexander and Baldwin, and Prudential.
Mr. Bennett serves as Non-Executive Chairman and a member of the Board of Directors of XTRA Corporation, a trailer leasing company, owned by Berkshire Hathaway Inc. Mr. Bennett graduated with the highest distinction from Harvard Business School, was a Baker Scholar, and received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University.
