In 1994, Suffolk became a affiliate of United Asset Management, a US financial services holding company, which was acquired in 2000 by Old Mutual plc (LSE: OML). In 2002, Suffolk became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ohio National Financial Services, Inc. In January 2017, Suffolk completed repurchasing their shares from Ohio National. Once again, Suffolk operates independently as an employee owned firm. The firm provides portfolio management services to corporate pension and profit-sharing plans, Taft-Hartley plans, registered mutual funds, trust programs, and other corporations or other businesses.
