Dr. Philipp Piribauer is an Economist at Österreichisches Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung.

He has authored numerous publications in international peer-reviewed journals, such as Empirical Economics, Journal of Regional Science, Macroeconomic Dynamics, or Spatial Statistics.
He holds a doctorate degree in Economics and Social Sciences from the WU Vienna.
For his dissertation, he was awarded the Stephan Koren Prize 2016 of the WU Vienna.
