ABN AMRO Bank NV (UK Branch - Old) is the London-based banking subsidiary of ABN AMRO NV. In 2007, the bank was acquired by a banking consortium of Fortis, RBS and Santander and in 2008, Fortis was acquired by the Dutch state. The government replaced Fortis as a stakeholder in RFS Holdings B.V. which manages ABN AMRO Bank NV. The London Branch of ABN AMRO was initially founded in 1993. They carry out broking and asset management services for high-net worth individuals, family businesses, NGOs, trust and pension funds, clubs and associations. ABN AMRO traces their origins to 1824 with the founding of Nederlandsche Handel-Maatschappij which became Algemene Bank Nederland (ABN). In 1991, the bank merged with Amsterdam-Rotterdam (AMRO) to become ABN AMRO.

NatWest Markets Plc (Investment Management) (NWM-IM) is the investment management division of NatWest Markets Plc, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NatWest Group Plc (LON: NWG) in Great Britain. The firm was founded in 1984 and formerly known as The Royal Bank of Scotland Plc. Headquartered in London, NWM-IM offers debt financing, risk management and trading solutions to UK-connected high-net-worth individuals.
