Patrick Davenport

Mr. Davenport joined Endeavor in mid 2005.
From 1999-2003, Mr. Davenport founded and was the Managing General Partner of Davenport Capital Ventures, a $120 million venture capital fund that invested in over 20 companies in the areas of software infrastructure, telecom, storage and digital media, that was funded by a sole institutional sponsor.
As an active investor, Mr. Davenport served on the Board of Directors of 12 portfolio companies.
Successful investments included Corvis, Light Logic, The Platform for Media, Fastchannel and RealHome, Inc. In addition to investment origination, diligence, negotiation, structuring, monitoring and liquification, as Managing Partner, Mr. Davenport was also responsible for fundraising, Limited Partner administration and communications, determining the fund’s investment focus and strategy, managing a staff of four and overseeing the investment committee.
From 1997-1999, Mr. Davenport served as Vice President of Marketing at Finova Technology Finance providing venture-financing solutions to early stage growth companies on the East Coast.
Prior to Finova, Mr. Davenport was a Vice President at GE Capital providing corporate finance solutions to high tech companies.
Early in his career, Mr. Davenport held positions as a Major Account Manager for Blue Cross and as a Marketing Representative for NYNEX selling computers and network communications solutions to Fortune 1000 major accounts.
Mr. Davenport received a BS from Providence College, an MS in Finance from Boston College and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
