Profile

Ms. Roberts co-founded PTS Learning Systems in 1986.
PTS was focused on corporate computer training and electronic performance support software.
By 1999, the company had grown into a highly profitable international organization with approximately 250 employees in 4 countries and revenues of $30 million.
PTS was sold in 1999 to Global Knowledge Network, a $450 million Welsh Carson-backed information technology training organization.
She had two previous educational business ventures, Primak Educational Foundation (non-profit) and Early Learning Associates (a for profit organization).
Under her leadership, Primak Educational Foundation received numerous grants and awards from the US Department of Education for Curriculum Design and Development.
Early Learning Associates received Job Training Funds from Harrisburg to retrain workers in the field of Computer Programming.
The children’s software developed by Early Childhood Associates, one of the first PC software programs on the market, was ultimately sold to Houghton Mifflin in 1984.
Ms. Roberts is currently the Director of the Institute for Educational Excellence and Entrepreneurship at West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
The mission of the 3E Institute is to bring educators and business leaders together in a collaborative environment to address the needs of students and educators in schools today.
She continues to focus on exciting partnerships such as those with WHYY and other corporate partners to foster improvement in the educational process.
