Omar Rene Chebli

Mr. Omar Chebli is a Managing Director at Pembroke Capital Advisors Ltd.
He is an integral part of the Private Funds Group at Pembroke Capital Advisors.
He has over 10 years of London based experience in financial markets covering the Middle East and Africa for the various fixed income derivatives, and solutions businesses.
He has worked at the following top tier financial institutions, namely Deutsche Bank for 5 years, Merrill Lynch for 3 years, and finally, RBS for 2 years.
In his last tenure, he was co-head of Fixed Income (FICC) Sales for the Middle East region with direct responsibility for overseeing the business with the Financial Institutions and Regional Investors such as SWFs.
He has extensive experience in the fixed income and derivatives space having distributed and originated many large transactions.
He has successfully been involved in the placement of credit funds and credit products to Middle Eastern and South African investors.
He was also involved in the structuring and the execution of a number of bespoke balance sheet solutions, and financing arrangements (ALM).
Mr. Chebli holds a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from the American University of Beirut and a Masters in Economics from the London School of Economics.
