Sandler is a Co-Founder & Managing Partner at ICE Canyon LLC.
He has been a leader in Emerging Markets investing since 1994.
He practices a disciplined investment approach that emphasizes capital preservation and long-term value creation from income and capital appreciation.
He seeks to deliver results through rigorous research and scenario analysis, expansive global coverage, and a multi-sector focus.
This investment approach has been used to identify and exploit the widest range of Emerging Markets and Global Credit investment opportunities across every sector of these expanding markets.
Prior to joining ICE Canyon, Mr. Sandler was Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager responsible for Emerging Markets and International Fixed Income at TCW (1994 to 2006).
At TCW, he built a leading global investment platform and successful long-term track records in total return and leverage credit arbitrage investment strategies.
Previously, he specialized in US government bond trading and arbitrage as a founding principal in a leveraged fixed income fund and as a Vice President and Senior Trader at Security Pacific Bank.
He began his career in Chicago as a derivatives specialist in institutional futures and options sales.
Mr. Sandler holds a B.A.
in Economics and Political Science from Drake University.
