Mr. Blank joined FBR in 2003 as an associate analyst in the real estate research group, specializing in retail, lodging, and office REITs.
Prior to joining FBR, Mr. Blank worked for two years as a consultant at PKF Consulting, in Alexandria, Virginia.
In this position, he focused on the lodging industry, and travel and tourism industry; conducted financial evaluations of perspective developments; performed financial valuations of real estate for property owners and lending institutions; and worked with local and national governments to develop tourism initiatives.
Mr. Blank received his M.B.A.
from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, and his B.S.
in business administration from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.
