Before joining Franklin Templeton Investments, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager at an asset management firm in Dusseldorf where he managed both funds of funds and health care equity portfolios.
Before that, he was a marketing specialist for equity derivatives at a major German bank.
He began his career as a staff writer for a financial newspaper, covering emerging markets, investment funds, and derivative products.
He holds a master's degree in economics from the Julius-Maximilian University of Wurzburg.
