TeamOlmed is after the merger of Team Ortopedteknik Scandinavia (founded 1994) and Olmed Orthopaedic (founded 1984), the largest orthopedic companies. The company is headquartered in Jonkoping and has units around the country. The company produces, adapts and provides patients with orthopedic aids. The main clients are a number of Swedish counties. Assignments will also from businesses, sports clubs and charities. TeamOlmed also runs the store chains focusing on self-care. The major product groups are shoes and inserts. Companies have long engaged in similar activities but in different geographical areas. Since 2010, both owned Team Ortopedteknik and Orthopaedic Olmed of Volati and in the spring of 2011, they joined forces in the joint company TeamOlmed. With a resourceful owner with long-term development goals, they must improve their ability to live up to their patients, customers and employees demands.
