Marco Annaratone

Marco Annaratone joined Penguin Computing in March 2004 as VP and General Manager, Scyld Software.
Marco started his career in academia, holding research and teaching positions at Carnegie Mellon, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, and at Harvard.
Marco joined Digital Equipment in 1991 as Technical Director of High Performance Computing.
In 1995 Marco became the Director of Digital's Western Research Laboratory (WRL) in Palo Alto, California.
Marco joined Voyan Technology in Santa Clara, California, as VP of Engineering in 1999 and then in 2000 he became the Technology General Manager of Milan-based Matrix SpA, the Internet Division of Seat Yellow Pages.
In 2001 Marco joined Net Partners, a pan-European venture capital fund, as Venture Partner.
He co-founded Resonant Link in 2002, to help Italian firms establish a presence in the US.
Marco holds a doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
