Luis Arenzana

Mr. Luis Arenzana is a Founding Partner at Ronit Capital LLP.
Prior to joining Ronit, Mr. Arenzana was a Founding Partner and Portfolio Manager of Shelter Island Capital Management, where he managed a European Event-Driven Strategy.
From 2008 onwards, he also offered advisory services to institutional clients investing in Spain.
Prior to founding Shelter Island, he was an Executive Director at Orchard Capital Advisors, where he worked as a Senior Analyst.
From 1999 to 2000, he was a Senior Vice President for Oppenheimer Capital in NY, where he was responsible for the research coverage of Telecoms, Electric Utilities, and Special Situations in Europe and Latin America.
Previously, he worked for CDC Asset Management and Banker’s Trust NY Corporation, where he managed an EM Relative Value Strategy.
He started his career at Banco Santander de Negocios where he was an Equity Research Analyst.
He received a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois (1989).
