Allianz Global Investors GmbH (Italy) (AllianzGI Italy) is the Italy-based asset management division of Allianz Global Investors GmbH, ultimately held by Allianz SE (ETR: ALV) in Germany. In 1998, Allianz integrated all their main asset management units under one branch and in 2012 they established Allianz Global Investors. Headquartered in Milan, AllianzGI Italy manages assets for individuals, families and institutions.

Allianz Global Investors Italia SGR SpA (AGI-IT) was established in 1970 and was formerly known as RAS Asset Management, part of the Milan-based Gruppo RAS-Riunione Adriatica di Sicurtà SpA, whose merger into Allianz SE was finalized in 2006. AGI-IT is a subsidiary of Allianz Global Investors Europe Holding GmbH which is a part of Allianz SE (FR: ALV). The firm manages mutual funds, pension funds, a fund of funds, a SICAV (under Irish law) and discretionary portfolios for institutional clients and private individuals.
