Laurie Forbes

Ms. Forbes is a Managing Director of the iNetworks Michigan Fund.
She has a career extending back over 20 years in the securities industry, 19 of which were with Morgan Stanley, the global investment banking firm.
At Morgan Stanley, she worked with public hospital groups facilitating bond offerings and debt restructuring, and headed her own team dedicated to the 501(c) (3) marketplace.
She also managed a private client portfolio of $100 million, working with non-profit entities and private clients.
Ms. Forbes has been an active board member with international 501(c) (3) non-profit groups as well as endowments and foundations, and currently serves on the board, and its finance committee, of the Harper-Hutzel Hospital, a hospital of the Detroit Medical Center.
She was the co-founder of a life sciences firm based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, which was sold to a major international healthcare group.
Ms. Forbes is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.A in history and economics, she also attended the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania for post-graduate education.
