Kenneth Munson

Mr. Kenneth Munson is Chief Executive Officer at Community Care Health Plan, Inc. and Chief Executive Officer at Community Care, Inc. (Wisconsin).
Prior to joining Community Care Health Plan in 2013, Mr. Munson held several roles leading large, complex nonprofit and governmental organizations.
He most recently served as a Regional Director of the U.S.
Department of Health and Human Services where he represented the HHS Department Secretary on a wide range of health and social service issues in the six-state region of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin.
He twice served as deputy secretary at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services in Madison, Wisconsin.
He also previously served for five years as president and CEO of Children’s Service Society of Wisconsin, the largest private nonprofit child welfare agency in Wisconsin.
During his time there he managed more than 80 programs including mental health, education and prevention programming at sites statewide serving 85,000 children and adults annually.
He also held several positions in the city of Milwaukee government, including deputy director of administration, executive director of the Fire and Police Commission, and assistant city attorney.
Mr. Munson earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
