He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN), a Specialization in Taxes from the UNAM and a Master's degree in Finance from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.
He has been an active member of the Colegio de Contadores Públicos de México since 1990 and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in International Financial Reporting Standards.
