John Wright

John Wright is Manager of Projects for Globestar Mining Corp., which he joined in December 2006.
He was employed in the management of engineering design and procurement for underground diamond mine development at the Ekati Mine in the Canadian arctic and for the Kittila Mine in Finland from 2004 to 2006.
From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Wright was Technical Manager for Inmet's Cayeli Mine in Turkey.
From 1994 to 2001, he was employed with H.A.Simons/AMEC as Project Manager and Senior Project Manager for the construction of Inco's McCready East Mine in Levack, Ontario and for DeBeer's Snap Lake Diamond Mine in the Northwest Territories.
Prior to 1994, he worked at a number of operating mines including Teck/Cominco's Sullivan Mine, Echo Bay's Lupin Mine, Nerco's Con Mine and Cogema's Cluff Lake Mine in various roles, including Chief Engineer and Technical Services Manager.
Mr. Wright has more than 30 years of experience in mine engineering, mine operations, mine studies and EPCM project management.
