Dwight L. Davenport

Mr. Davenport brings to Penobscot Investment Management years of experience in helping clients coordinate and manage their financial affairs.After several years with American Express he founded and acted as managing principal of Davenport Financial Services.
Mr. Davenport worked extensively in the areas of retirement, wealth transfer, and estate planning from 1995 through 2005.
In 1999 Mr. Davenport founded a second company, Cogent Solutions, a software design and practice management consulting company that provided estate planning software and “best practice” solutions to wealth advisory firms and institutions.
Mr. Davenport earned his BA from Norwich University, Military College of Vermont.
He is a U.S.
Coast Guard Licensed Captain and a Trustee serving the Princeton, MA Land trust.
