Formerly known as CBRE Clarion Securities UK Ltd., the firm was founded in 2006 through CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. (CBRE)'s acquisition of ING Clarion Real Estate Securities (CRES) from Netherlands-based ING Group NV. CBRE acquired substantially all of ING's real estate investment management operations in Europe. Headquartered in London, CBRE Investment Management-UK provides asset management services to individual and institutional clients.
