Carr Moody, 30, was hired as the Chief Financial Officer of The Sterling Financial Group of Companies, Inc. in March of 2002.
Prior to joining Sterling, Mr. Moody was the Chief Financial Officer of vFinance, Inc., a full service financial services firm in Boca Raton, FL.
During his tenure at vFinance, Mr. Moody was responsible for managing the finance, accounting, corporate development and corporate services arms of vFinance, and spearheaded the effort to reduce fixed overhead and streamline operations.
From November of 1996 through April of 2000, Mr. Moody served as Manager of Corporate Development of AutoNation, Inc., a "Fortune 100" company.
While at AutoNation, Mr. Moody was responsible for negotiating definitive agreements to acquire automotive dealerships, valuing automotive dealerships and performing due diligence on a number of acquisition targets.
From 1994 to 1996, he was an Audit In-Charge for Arthur Andersen LLP.
Mr. Moody graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston College in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting.
