Cornelia "Conny" Weggen joined ThinkEquity Partners in January 2002 as a Vice President in the Knowledge Enterprises group, covering companies in the education and training markets.
Prior to joining ThinkEquity, Cornelia served as an Equity Research Associate at WR Hambrecht & Co, focusing on education and e-learning stocks since 1999.
While at WR Hambrecht, she co-authored a widely read research report titled “Corporate e-Learning: Exploring a New Frontier.” In the cover story of Training magazine’s November 2000 issue, Cornelia was featured as a member of the new breed of e-learning visionaries.
Cornelia is also an editorial advisor to Online Learning Magazine.
After being awarded a Fulbright Scholarship, Cornelia came to the U.S.
in 1997 to complete her M.S.
in Finance at Golden Gate University.
She also holds a B.A.
in Business Administration from FHTW Universität in Berlin, Germany.
