Clay Fox joined Progress Equity Partners in 2020 as a vice president and brings close to 10 years of origination, transactional, and operational experience to the firm.
Prior to joining Progress Equity, Mr. Fox helped to build out the investment strategy and team for a venture capital fund in the food and beverage space, including leading all sourcing and transaction processes.
Previously, Mr. Fox also worked for a middle-market private equity firm in Denver where he was responsible for originating, executing, and monitoring investments in private businesses across multiple funds.
Mr. Fox also was an investment professional at Lone Star Funds, a global private equity firm, and began his career as an investment banking analyst with Wells Fargo Securities.
Mr. Fox holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration in Finance from Texas Christian University.
He is also on the Board of Directors for El Sistema Colorado, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving students’ social-emotional well-being through music education programs.
