Mr. Chris V.
Streit is an Executive Director at Platinum Capital Management Ltd.
He is responsible for further expanding the firm's international distribution and overall client development.
He also has a role sourcing managers for Platinum All Star Fund, one of the Group's leading fund of funds products.
Mr. Streit is likewise the Chairman of Board of Advisors to all Platinum Funds and serves on Platinum’s Risk Management Advisory Committee.
He has acted as an Advisor to the company since 1999.
He has more than thirty years experience in money management and brokerage business.
He founded MIT Asset Management, saw through the merger into MIT Associates and sold out to his partners in 2006.
Mr. Chris Streit has held numerous positions with Merrill Lynch & Co. and its affiliates over a 14-year period, including Chairman of the Board of ML Futures Management Inc. (a commodity pool operator and commodity trading advisor), Board Member of both ML International Bank in London and ML Futures Inc. (a futures commission merchant ) and Senior Vice President/Director of Marketing of ML Futures Inc. Mr. Christopher Streit has also served as Executive Director and National Sales Manager for Johnson Matthey & Wallace, Inc. (the US broker/dealer arm of the then-prominent British merchant banking firm), and was a member of their Board of Directors.
Other executive positions were Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Barnes & Co., responsible for the New York Wall Street office (subsequently acquired by LIT America ), and Managing Director of The Bridgewater Group as well as Executive Vice President of Bridgewater S.A.
