Bob J. Dorrell

Prior to Assante, Mr. Dorrell was Vice-President and General Manager of Global Allocation Financial Group Inc., an independent mutual fund dealership and insurance agency.
While at Global Allocation, Bob's role required him to be registered as a trading officer and supervisory officer (Chief Compliance Officer).
He was responsible for day to day operations including human resources, compliance, administration, general finance and record-keeping functions.
Mr. Dorrell has also held senior management positions in Canada Trust's retail distribution and financial advisory services channels.
He was instrumental in the development of Canada Trust's Financial Advice Strategy, and the creation and launch of CT Financial Planning Inc. prior to TD's acquisition of Canada Trust.
