Ms. Renge joined Sutter Securities in 2006.
She founded the nation’s first Japanese American woman-owned broker/dealer securities firm that financed in excess of six billion dollars of transactions.
She served as an officer with Dean Witter Reynolds and Kidder Peabody & Co., Inc. and was the former California Deputy State Controller.
Ms. Renge, a Fresno native, lives in the Central Valley and will be providing investment banking and financial advisory services to local governments and agencies in this rapidly growing region of California.
She has served on board of a number of professional and community institutions including California State Teachers Retirement System and California Public Employees Retirement System.
Ms. Renge currently serves on the five-member board Local Investment Advisoy Board (LIAB) which provides oversight for the Local Agency Investment Fund (LAIF).
LAIF is a voluntary investment program for California's local governments and special districts with 2,612 participants.
She is also a member of the investment committee for the national Japanese American Citizens League which provides oversight for their endowment and scholarship funds.
Ms. Renge graduated from the University of the Pacific with a B.S.
in Business Administration in 1981.
She is a General Securities Principal, Financial and Operations Securities Principal, Municipal Securities Principal and Investment Advisor registered with the National Association of Securities Dealers.
She also has her Real Estate Broker’s License with the California Dept.
of Real Estate.
