They are a subsidiary of CIBC Private Wealth Group LLC, ultimately held by Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (NYSE, TSE: CM) in Canada. CPWA provides investment advisory and wealth advisory services to individuals, trusts, estates, families, charitable organizations, employee benefit and contribution plans, corporations, state or municipal government entities, pension and profit-sharing plans, and other investment advisers.
