André Kleynhans

In addition to his role at Brightspark, Mr. Kleynhans is the CFO of Tira Wireless Inc., a Brightspark Ventures portfolio company.
Prior to that he was Partner with Toronto-based Klein Farber Corporate Finance Inc. for three years where he applied his creative skills and entrepreneurial approach to the firm’s merger & acquisition and capital raising client advisory mandates.
Previously, he spent eleven years with the Investec Bank Group’s Cape Town office, where he worked as a corporate finance and corporate banking consultant, following several years in Toronto as a VP of Finance for Nutri/System Limited.
Mr. Kleynhans began his career in South Africa in a variety of auditing and accounting roles where he obtained his B.
Accountancy degree and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (SA).
He then received his MBA from the University of Cape Town.
A highly respected professional in his field, he has been a frequent university campus speaker on corporate finance topics.
