Alex Liu

Mr. Liu has over 24 years of industry experience, primarily in computer and communications related operations with focus on technology transfer and licensing.
Mr. Liu is currently responsible for ITRI’s technology team spin-off, management team formation, technology valuation, fund raising, and other communications industry venture investment activities at ITIC.
Prior to joining ITIC, Mr. Liu was responsible for technology transfer and licensing at ITRI’s Computer and Communications Laboratory (CCL) and successfully assisted on the formation of Taiwan’s wireless industry.
Mr. Liu was also responsible for initiating Europe and Japan ODM/Branding marketing channels and generated strong revenue growth through manufacturing, sales&marketing, R&D, and procurement operations at private sectors in the computer and communications industry.
Mr. Liu earned a B.A.
in EE from Taiwan National Chiao-Tung University and is currently studying in the E.M.B.A program at Taiwan National Cheng-Chi University, with emphasis on technology innovation management.
