Alan A. Fields

Alan brings 35 years of experience to Harbor Capital, and was a co-founder of the firm in 1979.
Before that, he was an Officer and Portfolio Manager which were positions he held at Phoenix Investment Counsel of Boston, Inc. and at Hornblower Asset Management Co. He also served as a Research Analyst at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company.
Alan is a member of the Boston Committee on Foreign Relations and the Boston Economic Club.
In addition, Alan is the Chairman of the Trustees of Public Trusts in Lexington, MA, the Treasurer of the Cary Memorial Library Foundation, and a member of the Investment Committees for the Combined Jewish Philanthropies and Wellesley College.

and M.B.A.
from the University of North Carolina.
