TAS Offshore Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company. The principal business activity of the Company is shipbuilding, and its secondary business is in the provision of ship repair services. The Company constructs vessels in a range of sizes, ranging from 23 meters to 60 meters in length. Its shipbuilding activities include hull and superstructure construction; propulsion and power system installation; machinery and equipment installation; communication, navigation, and surveillance systems installation; interior fit-out; painting; and vessel testing and commissioning. The Company also provides slipway and afloat ship repair services, which includes routine marine engine, machinery, and equipment inspection and maintenance; routine piping and wiring inspection and maintenance; repairing damage from collision and other accidents; equipment installation, and repainting. The Company's constructed vessels include ferries, tugboats, harbor tugs and landing craft, among others.
