Business description: Prestar Resources

Prestar Resources Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company. The Company and its subsidiaries are engaged in the production and distribution of steel pipes, material handling equipment, storage racking systems, slitted steel coils, highway guardrails, road accessories and other steel-related products. The Company's segments include Manufacturing, Trading and Investment. The Manufacturing segment is engaged in the manufacturing of steel-related products. The Trading segment is engaged in the sales of hardware and steel related products. The Investment segment includes investment holdings, long term investment in quoted shares and property investment. It is also engaged in the slitting & shearing of hot-rolled, cold-rolled, galvanized, electro-galvanized, silicon and stainless-steel coils/sheets, roll-forming of carbon steel pipes & hollow sections. Its subsidiaries include Prestar Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd., Prestar Marketing Sdn. Bhd., Prestar Engineering Sdn. Bhd and others.
