mmcite as, formerly dessine as and mmcite 1 as is a Czech Republic-based company, which involves in manufacturing of metal furniture. The Company engages in own vision designs, development and bold realizations of urban furniture around the world. Its portfolio includes city benches, trash cans, bike racks and shelters. The common theme of all designs is a unified visual and aesthetic style as well as the fulfillment of functional and user requirements. Emphasis is placed on the use of functional materials, which must work in any environment and withstand demanding conditions. The Company has 10 branches around the world and more than 40 global representations, and in addition to the mother base mmcite, based in the Czech Republic, it also offers its own design studio led by David Karasek. mmcite is also one of the founding members of the Association of Czech Industrial Design.
